A Note from the owner of KlassTutoring

It all began many years ago. I started working for a well known local SAT tutoring company while completing my Masters Degree at UCLA (I was a bit of an Engineer Nerd; although I’d prefer Math Genius). After some time, I began tutoring privately. I enjoyed working with students but felt that existing tutoring materials were ineffective. I was making copies from four or five different tutorials and then supplementing these lessons with material that I developed on my own. This was inconvenient, to say the least. So I decided to write my own book (a project so giant—I now know—that I’m sure it can be seen from outer space, along with the Great Wall of China.) The final behemoth was a clear, complete, cohesive, and effective tutorial of over 500 pages. With the help of my tutorial, I found that students achieved results that exceeded their highest expectations (although no luck in keeping out those pesky Mongolian invaders).

(Now's a good time to say that I'm a much better SAT and ACT tutor than comedian, but you may have picked up on that already.)

After perfecting my SAT techniques for nearly 20 years (wow, I’m getting old), I had become an extremely successful and in-demand private SAT/ACT tutor. And what did that mean? Time to start a tutoring company! I asked a few of my trusted engineering friends to take on some of my students. The results were amazing. Every student achieved dramatic SAT score increases. My methods for SAT and ACT prep were validated, KlassTutoring was born, and I became dispensable (not really!).

Today, KlassTutoring has developed into the most effective company in the industry. I still work with every tutor to make sure we have the best and the brightest, and I take on a handful of students to make sure my techniques are still the most effective. KlassTutoring has gone from a party of one to a very small giant. We have worked with hundreds of satisfied students, and we are ready to work with you.
